Lists?

I really enjoy reading some of the lists (on sites like Amazon and rateyourmusic.com) and they can be quite informative too. I think it would be a nice feature to have here at Sputnik. Just a thought.

I'd like to see it, but I imagine it'd be hard to implement, from a coding point of view.

Aethetically it'd be nice though. In the user's profiles you could have 'Lists made by this user', and at the bottom of the album's page, 'Lists This Album Appears On'.

It'd probably help with that ever-present idea of community, too.

Cool idea, but a big problem is that there are sooooo many CDs which don't have reviews on Sputnik. I don't think I would even be able to create a list of 10 albums without having at least one of them not available.

Why not contribute and write a decent review about the lacking albums then?

Basically, it's a nice idea. But like Iai said, question is how hard it is to code that. mx would have to comment on that, as it lies in his hands to work that

Haha I'm trying, it takes me hours to write reviews though (I think I've only done five or so).

And I'm not sure if I want to write reviews anymore if MX "owns" them. That's some sketchy news.
