What if..........?

Hmm i cant find anything intresting in this forum so i dicided to start a new thread....i hope it can last a few days welll....
the question is What if........
Jim Morrison didnt die ....how the doors would be...and could they still be playing now?
if Jogn Boham(i think thats how u spell it) never died....would led zeppelin be awsome or just fell into maintream and kill the band..
Jimmy hendix if he was alive.......how would he look and dress now?

hmmm you can keep with some questions and give an opinion how a band person or other stuff, never had happend and be alive or change they lived or did music...if u can understand...i guess?
and hmm the way of life would they have now and how it would affect us or
you...and some other stuff

It's John Bonham, by the way. I don't think Zeppelin would be still together, or the Doors. I think Hendrix would still be making music, but he wouldn't be as hugely respected as he was in 1968.

I think he would be more influential than outright succesful, like Lou Reed.

I think if Bonham didn't die they still would have been around atleast through the 80's, and they would have been great for that period of time because they were just coming out of their prog phase.

I don't think the Doors would be together now. Morrison would have died at a later time than he did, most likely from a drug overdose.

As for Zeppelin, I'd say that if John Bonham was still alive, they would definitely still be together.

Hendrix would probably be a sponsor for the Gap.

all three of them probably would have died the next day. on drug overdoses. like they did. but if not morrison wouldve lot his voice, gotten fatter still and would now be some sort of marlon brando figure. used to be real cool but then just degenerated. bonham would have kept going but zeppelin may have stayed with the synthesizers and wouldve lost popularity. hendrix would have gotten into more soul or jazz. i see him as being kind of like jeff beck, constantly dabbling in other genres. all three of them would never be regarded as the gods they are now.

I just thought of what if Jimi Hendrix was still around, it might have affected a lot of black soctiety and rap might not even exist.

then a lot of us here would have a different more mainstream music taste, and A LOT of time on are hands.

AC/DC would be doing a lot more now if bon was alive
Led Zeppelin would be done
Hendrix would be making music
Joplin might be too

and it's John Bonham, not Jogn Boham

hmm yeah that too,
if syd barret stayed in pink floyd.....there would be no dark side of the moon and the other following albums...............
pink floyd would be in some other world.....i guess

I think the doors would probably be in the same sort of situation the rolling stones are in now, where they are sort of walking the line between "living legends" and "walking joke"

What if Cliff Burton never died? (That's a pretty common one) and, also Metallica related, what if Dave Mustaine went to AA in 1982, and came back to the band, and was still with them?

he probably wouldn't have lasted either way due to the fact the other guys partied hard as well

I don't think Jason Newsted's newcoming changed Metallica's style. It was probably Lars or James's idea to change Metallica's sound.

and yeah for mustaine......i think it was good he left metallica........
megadeth i think is the king of trash metal.....if anyone disagrees.....

Why did the guys of Metallica care so much about Dave's drinking? They did stuff too. I should know this, being the fanboy that I am, but I don't.

I belive it had alot to do with his attitude tords his band mates. I think it had to do with him missing practices to. I could be wrong though
