Ampeg B-100R

Ampeg B-100R Combo Amp (Rocket Bass)
I bought this as a floor model and had a trade-in,I'm not sure about the retail

Dimensions 21" H x 19" W x 14" D, about 60 lbs weight
Wattage 100 watts
Speaker(s) single 15"
EQ 4 band parametric; bass, low mid, high mid, treble.-- Boost buttons
for low, mid, and high
Effects None
Controls Gain and Master volume
Other Jacks for headphones and line out.

If you like simplicity and sound you'll love this amp.And for a bonus it looks real good. Terrific sound from a mid size combo
The 50's/60's retro styling with the Blue Diamond tolex and the stovetop control knobs suits my tastes. The volume levels produced by the B-100 are surprisingly high. I've seen and heard these used in small (100 -200 seats)clubs and they have plenty of volume. And the tone will melt butter. Warm, well rounded, very tube-like. . This is a straight ahead rumble machine for blues and classic rock.I'm using it with a early Gibson EB3 and the sound is well atriculated through this amp. At 60lbs it's not a lightweight get the casters. If you need a medium powered combo, you can't go wrong with this Ampeg.

Construction 4.5
Loudness 5
Clarity 4.5
Tone 5
Size/Bulkiness 4
Value 5

Overall 4.5+
