Cryptopsy anyone?

Do you like Cryptopsy? I love them but I don't know a lot of people who enjoy them. *they are from Quebec!*

So, do you like cryptopsy?

\m/ Yeah.
I'm hoping to see them live next year.

To above: They're brutal technical death metal.

you dirty bastard, im not a drummer but he's my hero. know if there is a site to check out lwhen they play live? I just moved down to the lower 48 from alaska so going to shows is more reasonable now.

I just checked the site and they are coming to both denver and ft. collins in march, I'm living a few hours away, im gonna go for sure, maybe to both if tickets arent very expensive. Is anyone in the area that may be attending? if so we should meet up before or something.

Yep, I like Cryptopsy. After that Lord Worm interview on metallian, I'm rather looking forward to the new album, too.

Cryptopsy is one of my favorite DM bands. However, on NsV, they could have lessened up on the drums in the production. I mean, its better than those bands that produce with the drums too low, but you can barely hear the guitars. Great band though.

you thought that with none so vile? i thought the mix was perfect. On the other hand, i cant listen to any nile album for long because it seems that the drums drown out everything.

Well, it might must be my headphones. I haven't listened to the album for a while with speakers, but with headphones they're way loud. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, cuz Flo is an amazing drummer.

I never found a problem with over-production of the drums on NSV, they seem just about right. I've had more of an issue with underproduction of drums (and guitars, actually) on Blasphemy Made Flesh.

B3rn3r you're definately from Regina aren't you because that pic of you and Flo is at The Exchange.

Crytopsy are awesome but definately way up there on the brutal scale and sometimes I can get a bit sick of that but still they are good for the type of band they are.
