What the hell is wrong with Bob Stoops?
Adrian Peterson leaves the game with an injury....but Stoops brings him in on OU's last possession to RUN OUT THE CLOCK! Hey Bob, that's what backups are for!
Unbelievable. |

Maybe he wanted to finish the game?
But yeah, if a Heisman favorite, freshman RB goes out with an injury, keep him out so he doesn't get seriously injured. |

i think he wanted to bring him in to make sure he was fine, i know its stupid but that could be the reason, and to get him yards for the heisman race

That's still an irresponsible reason. Peterson's still a freshman, he can win a Heisman next year or in his junior year...assuming Bob Stoops doesn't end his career this year.

Still no reason to potentially ruin his career, and possibly OU's shot at a National Championship, over it.

I don't think it's a big deal. It just shows that Peterson is tough, and that the injury wasn't serious.
