After the ALCS it is official, New York is the most pathetic sports city.

Yankees- 4 straight losses to boston after being up 3-0
Rangers- Last place since '95
Jets- Never been any good (maybe this year)
Giants- Besides 2000, nothing
Knicks- they're just awful
Mets- the only reason they won was because of buckner

I'm a new yorker and i'm the first to admit this, it sucks it really does, and to think we have so much money

I agree with the Yanks because ima Sox fan

but the Jets I suppose are a great football team this year, Curtis Martin is awesome.

Jets and Giants are looking pretty solid this year.
Rangers are just horrible.
Knicks will be mediocre at best.
Mets will probably stink it up again despite a new manager
Islanders should make the playoffs this year, but they really won't get far.
And the Yankees will just buy every FA this year and lose yet another World Series Championship realizing that money can't buy a good TEAM.

As a New Yorker, I can proudly say I support none of these organizations

ya man, the jets and giants are looking good this year

the giants will fall soon enough though

just goes to show, money can buy you players, but not success, it's how well the players work together that make up a team

You forgot the Yanks have 26 WS titles, the Islanders won 4 Straight SC. The NY Jets are 6-1. The Giants are 6-1.

The Falcons are never able to put together two good seasons in a row
The Braves have gotten out of the first round once since 1999 (in 2001, when they were rather pathetically beaten by the Diamondbacks)
The Hawks might be the most pathetic franchise in sports (well, maybe the Arizona Cardinals and LA Clippers are worse)
The Thrashers just suck
Georgia Tech is 4-3 but hasn't beaten a quality opponent all year
