Water-polo thread

A discussion for the few posters who play this amazing sport. Discuss plays/dynamics/whatever.

We lost a game today and the season ends on Friday. We play Long Beach Wilson High School on Friday...one of the best teams in California.

Another ignorant person. Water polo players can easily out-endure any other athlete.

The balls of your feet? They don't even touch the bottom you fool!
I've played water polo 2 years, and got moved up to varsity for soph. year (this year.) We got 4th in league.. not good. I never played much because of all those **** juniors and seniors.

I dont know. I do know that I had the pleasure of breaking a kids finger and laughing because his coach wouldn't take him out while he screamed for help.

At this tournament, I Foothill Ranch's set was so rowdy that when the ball went went into set he busted open the set gaurds face to where he couldn't move it for a week.

Yeah, I got those at the beginning of the season where they would pull on my toes and stuff. Hurts like a bitch.

My school just hosted the CIF semi-finals, and wow, I saw 4 GREAT games today.

Villa Park > Some team I can't remember
Foothill > Corona del Mar (AMAZING game)

I don't know who won the other two games because I had to start putting lane lines in the pool before they were finished. But man, they were a lot of fun to watch, plus the pool was packed with people watching. I saw so many busted faces at set and one guy get a gash around his eye, patch it up and keep on playing.

I got myself even sicker though putting in those lame lane lines.
