Water-polo thread
A discussion for the few posters who play this amazing sport. Discuss plays/dynamics/whatever.
We lost a game today and the season ends on Friday. We play Long Beach Wilson High School on Friday...one of the best teams in California. |

Another ignorant person. Water polo players can easily out-endure any other athlete.

The balls of your feet? They don't even touch the bottom you fool!
I've played water polo 2 years, and got moved up to varsity for soph. year (this year.) We got 4th in league.. not good. I never played much because of all those **** juniors and seniors. |

I dont know. I do know that I had the pleasure of breaking a kids finger and laughing because his coach wouldn't take him out while he screamed for help.

At this tournament, I Foothill Ranch's set was so rowdy that when the ball went went into set he busted open the set gaurds face to where he couldn't move it for a week.

Most of my best friends play waterpolo. Our school's team just came in third place for New England's.

My school just hosted the CIF semi-finals, and wow, I saw 4 GREAT games today.
Villa Park > Some team I can't remember Foothill > Corona del Mar (AMAZING game) I don't know who won the other two games because I had to start putting lane lines in the pool before they were finished. But man, they were a lot of fun to watch, plus the pool was packed with people watching. I saw so many busted faces at set and one guy get a gash around his eye, patch it up and keep on playing. I got myself even sicker though putting in those lame lane lines. ![]() |
