Medal of Honor: AA, Call of Duty, Battlefield 1942
These games are the best World War II shooters that each came out relatively close to one another.
I'm curious as to who all played these games/were you in a clan?/which one is your favorite. I haven't played these games in about 3 months now but I still am a huge fan of Medal of Honor: AA, that being the first game I joined a clan for. I think EA did a fantastic job on Medal of Honor and Battlefield. They were really one of a kind. |

Iv played all and i think battlefield had a real good multiplayer at the time it came out. My favorite part was flying and driving the vechicles. Call of Duty had an insane Multi player and really fun but i would say that the allies were much more stronger(weapons) and made it pretty unfair. CoD is still a sweet game and i loved calentin or w/e one with all the houses. u know what i mean

ive had nothgin but bad experiences with MoH games. they are so unrealistic and **** slow! they piss me off. now CoD is greatttt, i love the realism servers, adn teh rifles, haha. 1942 is great as well, much more fun wiht vehicles in that game then 'nam, though helicopters kick ***.

I used to play BF1942 all the time.
I got to be a really good sniper, but then my pc crashed and I decided to sell it to a friend. I can always borrow and copy it if I want to play it again. |

i still play MOH:AA, i love it so much. it had some great mods (city nights, hell in the pacific). i was in a few clans: L*T*J (less than jake), U|N (underground network), {DieS} (die something, means the riflemen in german).

I think Call of Duty is by far the best WWII FPS. This is after I believed BF1942 was the best about 2 years ago.

I was in clans for both MoH:AA and Call of Duty. A fairly decent clan too who've been around pretty much since MoH:AA was released. We've won a few LAN tournies (although I never went).
Alas, I no longer play either of those as my computers lagging behind in technologicalness now and most games run slow. Out of the 2 I prefer CoD. EDIT: The clan I was in in MoH:AA was =F|M|J= (Full Metal Jacket) and in CoD was TnR, which was comprised of FMJ members who broke away in dramatic fashion to form their own CoD clan because of something or other. They've merged back into one clan now. Last edited by SpazzMan; 11-22-2004 at 12:21 AM. |

I perfer call of duty over those, the action is furious and a bit more realistic.

for online action, in ww2 games, i myself prefer Day of Defeat over any of those, any day.
single player wise Call of Duty is amazing, Battlefield's single player just seemed like the online mode, just agains rubbish AI. medal of honour single player was amazing at the time, but it's aged. it's still really fun i guess, but i prefer COD. |
