I love old school rock , Like AC/DC.
So, yeah, I like your sound. You're right! A good lead player and a singer is all you need. But the basics, you got down. Sounds good to me! Keep on Rockin'! You might like my stuff, too. Check it out! Maybe I should move to York & become your lead player. But I live in Eastern N.C. and I'm 41 years old. Too bad! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/guitarcometmusic.htm |

okay , u have ripped off darkness 'black shuck' in ure first song natural born rockers.
ure second song reminds me tooo much of an oasis song i cant meber the name of it , but thats wat it sounds like.ure third song could be done by jet simply coz uve used the way they stop suddenly then sing. Dont get me wrong u guys are really good and ure songs are good , but a bit tooooo influenced by maybe wat u listen too, not a much ure own stuff. you obviously know how to play ure instruments so i hope this doesnt seem like im having a go. sorry if it does. |

I love the first song, even though it is a total ripoff of The Darkness... thats probably why I like it so much. The solo in that song was ace, really fitting.
I think that your singer could actually sing quite well with a little more practice, just lose the cheesy growl to his voice, it doesn't work. Keep it up |

couple of comments:
i was totally into all of those songs, seeing as how i myself am a huge fan of classic rock and that whole style. however, no offence, but the singer.. kinda sucked, in my opinion. even though you knew that. its especially apparent on "laying it down". where you stop everything but the vocals, and the guitarist sings, that was pretty painful. it woulda been really cool, otherwise, though. also, i wouldnt exactly say the lyrics were totally top notch, though they accomplished what they needed to: to shut up the annoying pop loving preteens who constantly ask "when are they gonna start singing, already?" I also liked the clean parts on "dead mans strut" and kinda wanted those parts to last longer. though they are fine the way they are. you scored alot of points with me with some of your leads. if motorcityrocker really is in your band and he wrote those riffs, that loses quite a few points, cause i mean, he sounds like hes got quite the temper.. but then again, maybe thats why your playing rock n roll, eh? , overall, though, it was pretty sweet set of three songs. |
