Ac/dc
just let me say in advance that a lot of people will probably disagree with me on this but im kind of hypocritical on this so here i go....
AC/DC is a good band in the sense that they play catchy tunes that you can hear for the first time and sing along to or tap your foot to. but.... Thats because there songs a simple but good. AC/DC isnt all that great of musicians they've won people over simplicity and catchyness |

AC/DC is a decent band. Most of their songs sound the same to me. Angus is an over rated guitar player. But they do rock and I must salute them for that. They have put out alot of records and most of them are pretty good.

ac/dc's music is simple and it's tru that angus does have some skill though....... but what matters is that they r one of the greatest bands in rock and roll and they put on a hell of a show

i really like AC/DC although some songs do sound the same...but when a band puts out 17 CD's its bound to get repetitive, i dont blame them.

acdc are one of the most influential rock and roll bands ever to play music. sure some of their songs are repetitive but tat only came around towards the end of her career. look at the golden age wen bon scott was round they played the best rock and roll australia has ever heard frm our own bands. acdc rock!

acdc made me take up guitar
i think angus used to be underrated but lately he's somehow picked up some attention. There are many new bands out there who try to play the AC/DC style but can't make it big. I guess AC/DC is one of the only bands where repetitiveness has actually worked. I can say though, that their style of playing is often imitated but never duplicated. |

AC/DC are one of my favourite bands. They have an easily identifiable sound, a terrific stage presence, and their songs, while simple, are very well thought out and great to listen to. And musical technicality doesn't equal a great musician. While we all respect Steve Vai, Yngwie, et al, a good musician doesn't have to play fast, complicated music to be recognised as great.

Everyone's yammering about Angus Young, but what about Malcolm Young? His right hand is the one behind most of those killer riffs.

AC/DC are an awesome band and their songs dont sound the same I got 6 albums and the most common thing that sounds the same is the singing which is one of the major reasons ac/dc rocks they got one of the most original voices out their. Try listening to Money Talks, Thunder Struck, Are You Ready, then listen The Boogie Man, Stiff Upper Lip, Highway To Hell. THose songs dont sound the same do they?
People complain about bands that go bad but AC/DC and Iron Maiden are two bands that havent done that. (and IMO Metallica but thats not who were talking about). AC/DC have stuck to their formula which is kick ***! And Angus is a great soloist and performer! I've only seen videos but with their upcoming new cd "Strap It On" Which if its anything like any of their other cd's it will rock! I hope they come to canada. |
