5/5
When I began searching for a louder combo for practice one of the first amps I came upon was the bx600. After reading many reviews and looking at a lot of websites it seemed this was the way to go.

The 60 watts are a very loud sixty watts and with the ease of adjusting tone, volume and the eq there was a big diff. (my first amp only had volume and 3 eqs) The amp offers a bright punchy tone or a nice mellow tone for playing either pounding punk rock anthems or a nice walking jazz line.

Contrary to what I've heard I never have had the speaker blow on me. Also the only drawback I can think of is that it is 44lbs but it's not really that big of a deal as long as you don't mind lugging it around.

Overall a great amp at a great price... 5/5

Thanks alot for posting the review longviewer I think i'm gonna be getting this one.
Is it definately loud enough to be heard over drums etc. in band practice sessions? That's all i need it for for now.

I don't have any problems being heard over the drums. The only problem I had was a guitar player who thought he should be the only intstrument heard, but that's not a problem anymore

I have the same amp, I purchased it roughly a year ago. In the past week it has been making odd wavering / vibrating noises. I think I may have blown a speaker, any idea what's wrong?

My amp did the same thing, its just because the speaker is crap.

Its found a resting place in the corner of my room (in peices).
