he was ok. lovren was unbelievable i thought. him and moreno. banging that their defence is actually good for a change. things don't seem to be happening for sturridge at the moment which is a shame, but it's good they have goals coming in from all angles to take the pressure off.

Reports on BVB's website report that shinji and kloppo fell asleep in each other's arms tonight. Finally the evil empire released shinji after being held hostage for 2 years.

as it should be

Predicting him to to annihilate Arsenal in the champs league group stages tbh

Reports are saying MUFC put in a bid for Falcao. Either tomorrow is gonna be interesting for us, or they're making it up to entice MCFC into bidding more.

with hernandez gone, kagawa gone and welbeck going, mata injured, and now rvp having an operation, a couple of things are going to happen

i thought falcao was going to real madrid

i i had a dream that benzema is on his way to manu

buying Falcao is like needing a new fridge freezer but buying a 60" inch tele

i mean it motd looks class on it and its very expensive but your peas are defrosting and david de gea looks like the shit and average keeper he is

so

We definitely need a CB there's no doubt, but with Hernandez leaving, Welbz probably also going, RVP being 31, old, playing poorly and injury prone, and Rooney not firing, we need a striker too.

Either way, happy transfer deadline day to you all!

rooney to become the shevschenko of manu

mata, di maria and januzaj in behind

this centre back thing is an issue though. hummels is good but hes not the class leader we need. i hope they have options lined up. be tough going into the season with this formation and this squad.

there were about five centre backs of real quality which united could have signed but missed the chance

now they're getting falcao on loan apparently

wtf

blind is coming in, surely? he can cover most places, so i'd say united are pretty set. they need better centre backs, but they'll not get anyone decent. benatia was the one.

wenger going to rome to referee a charity match shows he is king of deadline day banter

that and park

Once we secure Falcao and Blind I'll be happy. It's brilliant business for one window & shows we can still attract players without European football (even with Europe's elite going after the same people).

Feel slightly bad for Moyes though, it shows that van Gaal is a more attractive manager to top players.

Also saw on Twitter: "United have managed to find a replacement for RVP before Arsenal have" made me lol

Once we get everyone fit and ready (actually thankful for International break), we'll be set

Blind can play CB, RB, WBR, CDM and CM so covers a lot if we need to, but assuming we move to 4 at the back now, Rojo and Jones will do for now.

Welbeck to Arsenal is a good move for all parties. He has a few months to establish himself as a main main before Giroud comes back.

Spur's would've been the easier choice as they currently have no striker worth a damn.

346k they reckon

i'm sure that fudged in some way relative to the tax thing in monaco

huge money, more than rooney or rvp but then perhaps he will do more than both of them have recently

As it's a loan deal initially, Falcao won't be on anything more than he's currently earning at Monaco, we'll just pay his wages. If he signs after a year then we'll worry about what he wants per week.

that's what he's on at monaco, cause they've no tax. but because he's registered in monaco, i guess he'll still not be paying any?

don't see why he'd settle for lower wages, mendes is his agent

Not sure what the tax situation is with him being a Monaco player but playing for United, all I know is he has a contractual wage with Monaco which will fall to us to pay, this is a set figure a week before tax not after it, so if he is on 300k at Monaco and pays 50k of it in tax, he'll earn 300k at United and pay 150k in tax.
