No danger of Kloppo taking a job this year I think. He's stated he wants at least 1 full season out to recharge his batteries and re-assess his options.

I think he'll have no shortage of suitors in the premier league to be honest.

Tuchel is doing wonders with Dortmund also, absolutely cruised past Hertha today, top of the league on GD.

I'm going to persevere with Hazard. If I had Ivanovic, I'd get rid of him and put in a Man City defender (that plays). Chelsea don't look capable of keeping clean-sheets atm.

He's strong and lightning quick, nowhere near the finished article though in terms of what he can do for Man United.

Januzaj on loan to Dortmund, hopefully there's an option to buy included in that loan.

LVG said a few days ago he didn't need a new striker because he had Rooney, Hernandez, Januzaj and Fellaini.

And now we've got rid of two of them. Woo.

Oh and we got rid of Henriquez to Zagreb for 1.5mil... a player who got 30 goals last season while on loan, didn't even give him a chance at United, not one game.

Yet this 19 year old is worth 36mil off the bat? 12 goals in 45 appearances vs 30 in 37 for Henriquez.

I have no idea what's going on at United at the moment, but we're overpaying for everyone and under-selling everyone we want shot of.

So annoyed right now.

Oh ffs, even when we do good business we managed to balls it up, apparently 26mil + Navas for de Gea was agreed (great business for United really), they managed to not get the paperwork through in time apparently. Fan-fucking-tastic.

Reading the main Spain (Madrid) sportspapers is hilarious right now. They've had soooo many front pages saying how De Gea was sure sign and delivered all summer. Amazing

That said, it isn't a big deal for Real. Keylor is very good, they save money, and will probably get him free next year. United now have a player who asked for a transfer, has not played in a close to a month because he wanted to leave, won't sign a new contract, and will lose gim next summer for nothing. Even if he plays he might not be as good as last year, though as a professional you'd hope he will.

Edit: A report claims Real can prove the papers were sent at 12:59, and Uefa will decide tomorrow if the transfer is valid or not. Another report is going in a more ridiculous direction asking if the papers are already fully sogn if that means that legally De Gea is now a Real player, but can't play (think Turan in Barcelona) until the next window. Same with Keylor but backwards. Last day of the window is always madness.

I just don't get how a transfer everyone knew was going to happen 18 months ago was allowed to go down to the literal last minute of the window to the point it has potentially fallen through.

The Spanish FA are Madrid's biggest fan, surely they can fudge the numbers a tad to get this through

In Spain the trasfer deadline is taken extremely seriously. In the EPL you sometimes see transfer happen 2 hours later because the fax was sent but arrived late and that sort of stuff. In Spain that never happens as far as I know. If Real can't give real evidence I bet they have no chance. And even if they do, it's still up to La Liga to decide what happens to the deal if the documentation arrived after the line.

editMadrid claim everything was done in the last minute before the window closed. La Liga claims they got the paoer work 28 minutes after the window closed. That's a big gap.

I don't think this transfer will get done.
