Lacazette signing makes me laugh. Some Arsenal fans said Zlatan couldn't do it in the PL and his 50+ goals in France didn't count because it was "against farmers".

But Lacazette's 30+ goals in France make him a brilliant striker.

I love some Arsenal fans.

annoyed we missed out on lukaku even if i don't think he's worth that much - hope we go after aubameyang instead as i think he'd be a good fit

bakayoko and rudiger are decent signings though, and our defensive line-up looks pretty formidable now, really only need a star striker and some rotational players now, maybe
alex sandro as well if needed

No worries, we got Morata. Honestly, it's a better fit, he'll link up better with Hazard because he's more intelligent & technical than Lukaku, also Luk is just trouble waiting to happen from an immaturity/personality standpoint. I think Luk will do well for Man Utd, he suits their direct 'lump ball' style.

Bakayoko is a great signing, a defensive mid who can actually pass forwards & dribble past players (unlike Matic), yes please!

Actually feel sorry for Chelsea fans. Obviously need to strengthen for this season, go after Lukaku, Chamberlain and Llorente who all pick other clubs ahead of them. Sell Matic and attempt to replace him with Drinkwater. Their board is a mess.

I mean I'm not gonna say I'm overjoyed with the latter half of the transfer window, but overall I think we've done fine. We've got Morata who's had some good performances so far, Bakayoko looks promising but needs time to adapt, Rudiger looks like a decent Cahill successor with a better defensive mind minus the attacking threat from set-pieces, Zappacosta is an upgrade on Moses because he can actually cross (+ Morata is a beast from crosses), Drinkwater is probably about as much as we could expect for a squad rotation player, and it's clear Matic wanted to be a starting player elsewhere instead. Once Hazard is back after the international break and if Batshuayi can finally find some form I think we'll be pretty deadly. Only position that we haven't ended up reinforcing is left wing-back, we had all that talk of Alex Sandro but it was clear he would never leave and Alonso has been fantastic recently and top 5 LWB in the world easily, if cover is needed we can always shift Azpi to that side. So I'm not worried, even if signing Mahrez/Ox/Llorente would have been good. (Signing Llorente and sending Michy out on loan for a year would have been a great idea imo but you can't have everything.)

I'd be more concerned that Lukaku, Llorente, Ox and Barkley all rejected Chelsea after having bids accepted by their clubs. Something going on inside the walls that's warning players off of signing?
