the springy thing is custom made...
you know those springy thingy for kids in playgrounds?
i think dear pogo took one of those...
(i tried to steal one somewhere around home but i failed to unscrew the thing...)

Speaking of custom made keyboards...is there such thing as a circular keyboard? I mean ths has been truly haunting me for years.

sadly... havent seen any non rectangular keys... circular ones could be fun... but how will the keys look like ?
