(Funk) Galactic - Coolin' Off

For those of you who don't know Galactic, they are one of the best funk bands out there right now, and have played at Bonnaroo, etc...

Galactic's real funky and focused on instrumentation. In particular, the drummer Stanton Moore is amazing, and well known for his playing chops and groove. Usually the music features funky bass, guitar, or drums, but horns are also involved in the music (definitely more a jazzy thing than ska type thing however). This stuff has class.

Unfortunately, the rest are just so so filler funk songs (although still good musically). This cd is still worth picking up for the funk gems however (particularly church).
