Fretboard Replacement

Hey, I have a Fender Strat (not a very good one, a cheap one) but it looks identical to hendrix's strat, except for the fretboard. Mine is rosewood I think, (or whatever wood is dark brown) and i believe hendrix's is a light coloured wood, like maple.

How hard, and expensive is it for me to replace my fretboard with a maple fretboard. thanx.

uh, may I ask why you want maple over rosewood? if your just doing it for looks then dont... I would only change fret wood if you want the tonal differences. dont get me wrong I like maple more then rosewood but its not for everyone, just keep that in mind.
