It all depends on what you're thinking of "home recording".
If you want to record guitars, keyboards, vocals, bass like me, so I think my stuff will pleasure you... PC: Just get a kind of good PC (256 ram, +1ghz), but with a really good soundcard... I have a Audigy 2 Platinum from Creative and I can get a good quality recording with it. Software to record: Search Cool Edit Pro 2 on Kazaa Microphone: For vocals, or to mic an Amp, I have a Shure Lyrics 8900 (kind of cheap but effective mic) connected into my Soundcard. You can use the Line-in to record guitars (just buy a cheap adaptor to do it). With this stuff, you can reach a good recording quality, but not a SUPER-PRO recording quality. Guess it will help a little ![]() |

Basically its just to record me and my guitar just for messing about on but also maybe something I could use in the future, if I get a band for example!
Thanks for the reply all taken into account! |
