Shame they haven't done it with the 'games with gold' deal on xbox 360. We got dead island this month, which I got last year and finished twice. Revisited it with my buddy and we found some insane glitches.

need PSN+

one thing I'll say about Marvel is, I've never sucked at a game for that long and continued to stick with it until I got competent at it.

To be great at that game takes a ridiculous amount of dedication

Yeah, it definitely does. I've been playing a lot of deus ex human revolution these past few weeks, and that's a game that definitely requires exploration and multiple playthroughs.

I've started playing it twice now. Seems good enough, but I know I'll never revisit it

After my second playthrough I doubt I'll ever play it again simply because it is such a demanding game.

My son has me messing with Payday 2 right now. Can't be bothered to play it more than 20 minutes in a sitting.

That and Card Wars on iOS, but I actually like that game

POE just looks and feels too rough around the edges; I guess that's what you get for a f2p game. And its skill-tree is a big sprawling mess of incremental increases that could have been handled by items rather than skill points.

Yeah I know what you mean. If they trimmed the skill tree that would be better.

i guess what i am saying is that the entry point is not that bad. unless you wanna play bf4 on ultra. older games that you enjoy run to perfection on a cheaply acquired system

Maybe Ron, in your world, maybe.

But it may justly be more D2 than D3 aspired to be...which means good things. I loved d2, and, because of the backlash to Blizz and their money-grubbing ways, I never played d3.

I still have POE in my steam, but I reckon it'll be half a year before I decide to give it a spin. When I last booted it up it just made me want to play something that was still RPG but actually fun...like demon souls/dark souls.

D3 is just too dumbed down for me. Not to sound pretentious but it is just...arcade for me with no real challenge. In PoE you NEED to do a proper build or you're fucked.

I find hack and slashers/dungeon crawlers way too repetitive and tedious. Nothing worse than grinding non stop for xp, doing the same thing over and over again.

yeah...you have to be in a particularly tunnel-minded state to really get absorbed into that.
