I Think You're Fabulous

Maybe it's just me
But I don't think so
It must be everyone
Thinking like I do
I've seen you on TV
Seen you on youtube
Now I'm in your presence
Standing next to you

I Think You're Fabulous
I think you're super
More than that
You're super-duper
I Think You're Fabulous
I'm in a stupor
I think you're great
Such a trooper

It's hard to believe
You're so beautiful
Prettier in person
Than on video
I'll take your autograph
Like most people do
Still can't believe I'm
Talking here with you

I Think You're Fabulous
I think you're super
More than that
You're super-duper
I Think You're Fabulous
I'm in a stupor
I think you're great
Such a trooper

Bridge:
I love your dimples
I love your hair
I love your smile
Just let me stare

I Think You're Fabulous
I think you're super
More than that
You're super-duper
I Think You're Fabulous
I'm in a stupor
I think you're great
Such a trooper

fucked it up

guess i fucked it up
there was no need
i brought a kid
in to the world
and didn't pay
attention to
his wants and needs instead
i took e and speed

and now he's past
the time to change
he has no values
thinks i'm deranged
i should've spent more time
working things through
instead i snorted coke
and dropped a yoke
and blazed some smoke

the time must come

i must just trust
he has good friends

so now you hear
how not to be

sort of like me
just take the time
to make it right
and avoid regret
and constant fight

i trust you all
to make this true
that you won't
desert part of you
to try as hard
as hard can be
to take a kids development
seriously

this look like cool prog lyrics, like some chanted ryhtms, i will try to make something of this. in two weeks.
Dont like the two lines last lines.
But i probably could fake a phone cal from son, in the beguinning of song like.
"Hey dad, i never forget you, you gave me a lot of scars, all of us can forgive but I dont Forget. I love you dad , i love you never" And then like a syncopated guitar triplets power chords with crash and double bass kicking in. All in 6/4

lofi till i die

Any lofi junkies?

https://soundcloud.com/whole-wheat

I do a lot of 4-track cassette recording under the name Whole Wheat... Been doing it since the 90's and randomly getting back into it the past year.

Been posting some things on soundcloud. Fans of Beck, Sebadoh, Ariel Pink, Mac Demarco, and some hiss and grime might appreciate... Lyrically a little bleak, but hey, life.

Would love to connect with other artists with a similar feel, hit me up.

Any newer suggestions of similar artists would be cool too, tons to wade thru nowadays.

thanks

I have an instrumental project called Clouds Arrived. I've had influences from artists like Porcupine Tree, This Will Destroy You, Hammock and Cult of Luna. Here's a link to the latest album called 'Into the depths'. I hope you'll give it a listen. http://cloudsarrived.bandcamp.com/album/into-the-depths

I'm In Love

I'll see her tonight
She'll be all fixed up
I'll pick her up
In my Nissan truck
We'll drive out somewhere
Where it's good and dark
Just a crescent moon
And a thousand stars

I'm In Love
I'm satisfied
These feelings
Can't be denied
So many girls
This one's enough
Enough for me
I'm In Love

My friends are downtown
Looking for something
I don't know what
And neither do they
I used to go with them
Not anymore
She changed all that
It's not like before

I'm In Love
I'm satisfied
These feelings
Can't be denied
So many girls
This one's enough
Enough for me
I'm In Love

Yeah, we'll get married
Have a kid or two
Work our butts off
Like couples do
Live for the future
One eye on the past
I know our love
Is gonna last

I'm In Love
I'm satisfied
These feelings
Can't be denied
So many girls
This one's enough
Enough for me
I'm In Love

Scattered, Smothered & Covered

I woke up this morning
Put on a Little Big Town CD
You know I love those voices
Karen and Kimberly sing to me
I lay in my bathtub
Soaking suds in my own pontoon
Drove out to the Waffle House
Caught a glimpse of the setting moon

Scattered, Smothered & Covered
Three scrambled eggs and coffee
Hash browns with cheese topping
Scattered, Smothered & Covered

Heard them on the juke box
"Little White Church" just for me
Born and raised in the boondocks
Phillip and Jimi harmony

Scattered, Smothered & Covered
Three scrambled eggs and coffee
Hash browns with cheese topping
Scattered, Smothered & Covered

I know every Waffle House waitress
I know them, and they know me

Scattered, Smothered & Covered
Three scrambled eggs and coffee
Hash browns with cheese topping
Scattered, Smothered & Covered

Modulate:
Scattered, Smothered & Covered
Three scrambled eggs and coffee
Hash browns with cheese topping
Scattered, Smothered & Covered

Warm You Up On A Cold Night

Baby, we've known each other a long time
But the time has never seemed right before
This may be it, it's 10 degrees outside
Leave your door unlocked, I'm coming over

I'll Warm You Up On A Cold Night
Wrap my arms around you, hold you tight
Under the covers, in our pajamas
I'll Warm You Up On A Cold Night

One of the coldest winters we've ever had
At least it will kill off a lotta bugs
I just wanna cuddle up beside you
Pull you in close, give you a lotta hugs

I'll Warm You Up On A Cold Night
Wrap my arms around you, hold you tight
Under the covers, in our pajamas
I'll Warm You Up On A Cold Night

It don't matter the time of year
I'll be there, and you'll be here

We'll turn this into a permanent thing
Take it through the spring, into the summer
You'll need somebody to get you through
There will always be another winter

I'll Warm You Up On A Cold Night
Wrap my arms around you, hold you tight
Under the covers, in our pajamas
I'll Warm You Up On A Cold Night

Hails to all the Sputnik community (sorry for my bad english...)

After long years far from the internet and the virtual relationship, despite the lake of reply for a review of my first record, i would like to talk about our second record.

SAISON DE ROUILLE is a french projet between blues, noise, dark french rock and industrial music.

Here all the informations about this record and our research for funds to release it :

SAISON DE ROUILLE is looking for funds for the release of its second record in vinyl format:
http://www.ulule.com/saisonderouille/

After a year of intense work composition , SAISON DE ROUILLE finished recording "Déroutes Sans Fin", a*dark story of forced journeys on chaotic and noisy roads through strange and hostile landscapes. Leaving punitive industrial rhythms of his first album (Caduta of Gravi) behind, for bluesy intense and direct sounds, SDR gives textual dimension and French language, an important place.

For a*full listen (and digital buying)*click here :**DEROUTES SANS FIN on bandcamp (https://saisonderouille.bandcamp.com/album/deroutes-sans-fin-2)

Or here, on*youtube:*

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KsYvcTYShnA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=FOouqzCuUW4

Insofar as all recording, mixing and mastering sessions were completed,*funding is for the sole purpose of :
⁃ the pressing of 200 or 300 copies,*with insert and a quadricolor cover, which should look like this:*

⁃ covering miscellaneous expenses, including postal.

All of it will be about*1200€. Equalling a 8€ participation, the vinyl is therefore,*almost at cost price.

We are committed to the idea of a (complementary)*co-production. So, if you are a*label*and you wish to participate to the production of the album, Déroutes Sans Fins , do not hesitate to contact us directly, by email. It is quite possible to*pre-order a number of copies*(10, 25 , 50) , and to include the logo of your organisation on the back cover.

I hope won't considerate my post as a spam !

She loves animals

She said She Loves Animals
Wants to work in a zoo
She majored in zoology
Like animal lovers do
She grew up with dogs and cats
Spent money on dog food
She fed a tank full of goldfish
Loves her cockatoo

She Loves Animals
Hippos, elephants and bears
Lions, tigers and monkeys
Anything with fur
She and I can't make it
I don't share her sympathies
I don't get off on giraffes
I despise those horrid beasts

She preaches animal rights
Eats only vegetables
Protects scorpions and insects
Yeah, they're animals
I've read the science books
I know evolution's true
Still, I ain't sleeping
With no damn baboon

She Loves Animals
Hippos, elephants and bears
Lions, tigers and monkeys
Anything with fur
She and I can't make it
I don't share her sympathies
I don't get off on hippos
I despise those horrid beasts

Bridge:
The only animals I don't hate
Are the ones cooked on my plate
Fried, broiled and grilled
Roasted, steamed and baked

She Loves Animals
Hippos, elephants and bears
Lions, tigers and monkeys
Anything with fur
She and I can't make it
I don't share her sympathies
I don't get off on gators
I despise those horrid beasts

Rap:
Get off your high horse, honey
Come over here and ride me
I'll never step on your foot
Whee-e-e-e-e-e!
