Clearly I prefer to listen to real fusion like Return to Forever, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chick Corea Elektric Band, The Tony Williams Lifeline, Weather Report et al.

I think it's great that they're reviving fusion and getting people into jazz through rock, but toting them as being hugely experimental and influential is a bit much considering how small their impact is beyond reintroducing people to musical styles that were done thirty years ago.
