Yeah I agree, it's no longer anywhere near the realms of punk, but the nomenclature seems to have stuck regardless

don't really get the idea of "pop punk" seems kind of counter-intuitive. Nevertheless, Green Day! Warning is a far underrated album, elements of folk, punk and Beatles-esque pop.

i'm not sure how i feel about pop punk as a whole. Some, good, mainly the older ones. The newer ones are just, ugh
