please do not use the deprez opening. it's regarded as among the last, next to last, or on a good day, next to next to last. against people who had at least as much experience as me playing chess, this opening probably had me win no more than 50% of games.

but that doesn't really mean shit because i've played maybe 20-something games in my whole life. i love me some trivial pursuit though. i wiped the floor with some midwesterners maybe a couple years back.

Good, because I hate chess. Why should I have to work and think to earn a win when all I have to do is play Trivial Pursuit and based off the magazines, newspapers, online articles, books, and TV news and documentaries I've read and watched, I can beat the shit out of almost anyone in that game with little to no effort.

i have all the facts in the stupidest subjects that are worthless and meaningless. no one will care who kenneth starr was in 35 years. but if it ever comes up in a game of trivial pursuit, i will know it. the kenneth starr question was a big turning point in the game versus the michiganers (michiganites, michig--?).

the only one who ever beat me in that game was a doctor who went to school at a big name college in pennsylvania and was later accepted into boston university medical school. but you know what, because i gave him a free point, because i felt sorry that this genius i was beating the shit out of. and it bit me in the ass because then he turned around and answered two or three more. i started a big rally though and then i got a question and the answer was the communist party of china. i said, 'i am a staunch anti-communist, i will not say communist party on principle'

and that was the answer. i was fucking pissed. if i got that question correct it would have been sudden death.

but what was great about it was because the question was worded in a way so that it might have been less obvious than it should have been. and ando, many of our countrymen don't know who joe biden is, such as those in our age group, so i find it a stretch to think anymore than a small percent would get such a question correct.

i like trivial pursuit. i'm willing to kick people's butts in a number of games. i must have well over ten types at home. i just suck at chess. but since i've read into theory, i am more confident i will suck hard, but just not as hard. i think mastermind would be a fun game and it should work out well to play here.

yeah i've thought about springing for it but i'm not really advanced enough to justify it

although sometimes you see platinum members with like ~800 blitz ratings, and it's like come on guy just give up already
