started watching Orange is the New Black. Not too bad. It's like a female version of Oz, with less rape.

someone said Adventure Time is a gateway to LSD. But i think all the 20 minute little stories are well done, very good comedy and visuals

i'm up to date on parks and rec. enjoyed it all. not sure i like where its going though. i'm losing the leslie character and if ann leaves then april is the only thing remotely cute. they should call it a day and move on. such talen will find other great platforms

so i'm going down the arrested development route

the wire is the shit. Soooo many characters i connected with. I can see why alot of people don't like it though. The pace of that show is slower than shit.

don't know I'm a semi gheto white dude in chicago so the slang they used wasn't a problem for me. Honestly i thought the ghetto slang was pretty minimal in that show.

The best shows ever made:
Six Feet Under
The Sopranos
Twin Peaks
Battlestar Galactica

Watch those before you watch anything else.

I can really back Twin Peaks and 6feet. Twin Peaks was a definite high-point in television programming (Lynch's 1st season).

Just got into "Tales From The Crypt", horror-tinged HBO series from the late 80's....many notable directors and participants in the show, Robert Zemeckis seems to be involved quite a bit. It is appropriately cheesy, as all horror tempts to suspend your disbelief, but the writing is damn legitimate and so is the acting. I will whole-heartedly recommend, especially to people who enjoyed some of the zeitgeist of Twin Peaks...this one offers a similarly niave, and in-turn, morose representation of America in the late 80's.
