Dude, Ellicott City is gay. It's right next to Catonsville, which is also gay. I used to live there.

that's commendable. You still need a ton of trial and error before it comes out right, I've fooled around with Reason for a while and it's still a challenge to properly layer and then automate a track. Amateur style

automation is easier on reason than most programs. just right click the knob(s) you want to automate, bind them to a controller and record it. we should have MX beat battles

I'd be down for that. I don't have a midi controller right now though so I have to do automation the hard way.

this is a scratch recording of my band's new song, w/ programmed drums

we're going to the studio to record a new ep first week of september

https://www.box.com/s/9946baacc590ec2e69a1

lyrics:

suck in and breath out
repeatedly
air hosted in lungs
free to leave
or at least an illusion
of autonomy
we all live in illusion
of autonomy

well ain't it some shit that
our biggest flaws are ourselves
and it speaks for something
in those tired arguments
where it's nature versus nurture
and nurture seems so slim
or maybe it's just that i, i'm just a pessimist

you can't stop to think before you think

or maybe i'm just tired
of thinking that people can change
i'm probably just jaded
from thinking that i did

we're at instinct's mercy
we'll never win
reason is fabrication
consciousness is a farce
needless to say: our direction is faulty

oh the clichés are overwhelming
so misguided
millions of drones
in overwhelming proportions of shit

too many politicians
and kissing circles
fuck your soapbox
step the fuck down

the nuisance is too many clever fools
too many idle minds
just turning to shit
dinosauric proportions of utter shit

suck your own dick
you'll find the answers i swear

owas on the l word!
Every time I see your face
I think of things unpure unchaste
I want to fuck you like a dog
Ill take you home and make you like it

Everything you ever wanted
Everything you ever thought of is
Everything Ill do to you Ill fuck you and your minions too

Your face reminds me of a flower
Kind of like youre underwater
Hairs too long and in your eyes
Your lips- a perfect suck me size

You act like youre fourteen years old
Everything you say is so
Obnoxious, funny, rude and mean
I want to be your blowjob queen

Youre probably shy and introspective
Thats not part of my objective
I just want your fresh young jimmy
Jamming slamming ramming in me

Every time I see your face
I think of things unpure unchaste
I want to fuck you like a dog Ill take you home and make you like it

Everything you ever wanted
Everything you ever thought of is
Everything Ill do to you
Ill fuck you til your dick is blue

This is my band, The Mosaic. We play post-hardcore/post-rock type stuff. Some influences include GY!BE, Slint, Unwound, Mogwai.
