might have just been the sound but i didn't think the safety fire came across that well at the show. their single sounds totally boss on record though, but i do admit that's the only song of theirs i've listened to.
okay, so here's a thing. i've got a bass combo i want to sell but nobody's biting. if i stick a crossover in line to suck out everything above like 300hz or something, reckon it could see use as a subwoofer for my computer speaker system? |

You can definitely use it as a sub if you have a sub output on your computer (which may already take care of the crossover, hard to say). You will probably have to fiddle around with the specific crossover frequency, because typical computer speakers lack a lot of low mids, but most sub crossovers peak at about 150Hz. |

Well it's coming from my soundcard, a focusrite saffire 6 USB. I think I need to use a second set of RCAs for it to work. The speakers I use now are using one set of the RCA outs. No crossovers built in.
They definitely played that song but I've not heard it recorded. I might take a chance on their album though. Their guitarist looked like michael cera in youth in revolt. |

Who'd you see Ben?
I'm amazed this forum is still going at all sometimes tbh! I haven't even played bass in like 6 months :/ joining a new band though. Kinda UK post hardcore stuff. They've already got a couple of EPs worth of material too ![]() |

Sleigh Bells, Jane's Addiction, and Alanis Morissette are playing shows within the next month here. I wonder which I can afford tickets to. Hmmm
In other news, I'm working on a ukulele cover of Killswitch's "My Curse". ![]() Last edited by FunkMetalBass; 10-10-2012 at 08:54 AM. |

Also just been to see looper. Loved it, it's a great film. Go watch it!
Ps I'm genuinely starting to feel like Bruce Willis cannot make a bad film |
