Well that was odd... was watching the new alan partridge series and there was an odd segment where Alan went to the hospital I work in, drove around the roundabout several times and then ran into the reception and then emerged with a handful of choc-ices.

Turns out I was a bit sloppy with that bass I mocked up. The bridge string spacing was supposed to be somewhere around 16.5/17mm, but instead ended up just shy of 20mm. I now have to decide whether to leave it as is and try to correct the mistake on my trace before I fully cut the neck, or if I should painstakingly make all of the autocad adjustments.

What do you guys think?

In playing around with AutoCad, I don't think it's going to make a difference. Spread over the neck, it's mere millimeters, so I'm just going to ignore it and shape it exactly as I already have it.

I know I didn't give you guys too much time to respond, but I think I found the beer (kit) I want to brew

AHS Aramis Saison:

A beer truly brewed out of necessity, the saison (French for season) was originally created as a refreshing beverage for farm workers. Saisons would keep the farmers refreshed and hydrated when potable water was scarce. Aramis hops give this saison a well rounded hop character with aromatic notes of citrus, herb, and fruit. Aramis Saison is the perfect companion beer for a day of yard work or gardening.

It sounds delicious and like a perfect brew for August end-of-summer drinking.

Ok, I promise, this is the last MEW picture (since you guys are probably getting tired of her and she's really not my favorite).

So I finally got my Circle K strings after a shipping mix up and all sorts of delays and promptly broke my .015 while tuning. Fml.

Ouch. How did that happen and where did the string break? You should email Skip. He might be able to send you a replacement free of charge.

In the interim, D'Addario makes a string in that gauge and you can probably buy a single string from any music shop.

Other than the breakage (first I've heard of one breaking, TBH), how do you like the tone and feel of the other 5 strings?

I think that I should have taken a lighter gauge. It wasn't going to make it all the way to G#. Otherwise, quite happy with the other 5 strings. The .158 low A is thunderous an crystal clear.
