Yeah we do pretty regularly by the old book of face. I know he was studying post-grad music stuffs not sure if he's playing regularly too. Honestly, his and your chops have always been the most impressive on here to me. I remember one of your mp3s you had up that started with a press roll, and at first I thought it was static. You still quick?

I'm surprised you still remember that man, I'm amazed actually! That was sooo long ago

I still play quite a bit... Often shuffling between many different instruments. I try to get some drum playing in daily to keep myself in shape.

Wow, playing drums once a day sounds amazing. I'm closer to the once a week schedule right now. Hopefully that change once I'm done with finals in a few days.

I've been doing 1.5 hours a day for about 3 months now. It's great. 30 mins of ride work, 15 mins of pad work to stick control, 15 mins of brush work, 30 mins of e-kit based shedding. Weekends I don't follow that schedule and will play free stuff on both kits, but still try get a few hours in.

Gah. That's my dream, I finally got a pad for my apartment, so hopefully I can get into the routine of doing something daily. I never thought I'd have any regrets about having a gig at least once a week but it really limits the time available for working on techniques. Practice time is spent with the band..

Awesome! The lady doing ok? That birthing process can be a bitch...

I rode 14 miles earlier and feel semi-ok from it. Dirt not rode.

Nice!

You know those days that just rock start to finish? I just had one.

Spent the morning with my girlfriend. Spent 2 hours this afternoon with my sticks and a pad. Then had awesome BBQ with the folks. Then had a kick ass practice with the side project where we actually finalized two songs and started another. And then went boxing for the first time in a year (and didn't die) and now I am just about to sit down with a growler full of local brew and listen to some new records I bought.

Sorry for the self indulgence but I'm in such a good mood I felt the need to share...
