Hopefully Unreal 4 will fix alot that is wrong with making games with Unreal 3. Have to know the Unreal Engine almost inside out to get anything worthwhile out with it, thats why almost all you see with Unreal is FPS/ThirdPS. Feel damn sorry about the programmers who had to make the batman games. Last edited by JizzInMyPants; 04-17-2012 at 12:03 AM. |

Nothing in particular, just think Unity is superior to flash. I know flash has a 3D API coming out which will be interesting, doubt it will be as polished as Unity is as of now though. Unity devs are working on implementing DirectX 11 which will be super awesome. Unreal documentation is shitty Last edited by JizzInMyPants; 04-17-2012 at 08:59 AM. |

i find it ammusing how i can play crysis 2 on "extreme" settings and get a smooth framerate, but i can't play the Witcher 2 on the lowest settings worth a shit.

They both can play on a wide spectrum on media, and they both can play on the browser and communicate with it. |

well ya you can make some diverse stuff on flash, there are pretty obvious limitations compared with unity or unreal though

Oh no it is stupid to compare flash with unreal, unreal is for AAA games engine only (ok UDK is *trying* to target indie developers), unity and flash is targeted more or less for indie developers for things even beyond games.

i would put unity in the same category as unreal rather than flash, even if it is targeted more toward indie developers (unreal is as well, maybe slightly less) it's still quite a bit beyond flash in creating a fully fleshed-out project
