Simply put, I'm not here to bitch, but Sputnikmusic is an awesome site for cataloging the music you've listened to, and it could be way better if it was tweaked. If the owner of this site sees this, here are some suggestions from me:

If so, this is better suited to the Suggestions Thread as you should already be aware. But I'll address some of your qualms now.

1) Make it so you can feasibly see the track list on albums.

As before, this would be nice. Until then add the track lists damnit.

2) Make it so artists with foreign names can be looked up. Artists with accents glitch this site up way too much. You can't search them, you can't even navigate to their page through a similar artist recommendation. And when you navigate to an album, the artist's name gets turned into symbols.

Yes this would be nice. Until then use the English equivalent character (i.e. Dvořák becomes Dvorak). Under no circumstances are unlauts allowed to be used.

3) There's a limit to how long an album name can be? REALLY!?

Yes, this would be nice, but I think it may have to do with the way the site is designed. Until then use an ellipsis (...) as your final three characters.

4) A "plan to listen to" option would be cool. Something like if an artist on the database looks interesting, you could save them in a plan to listen to category. You could always bookmark the artist's page, but still.

These sort of 'niceties' that are sufficiently suited to a text editor + user effort aren't going to be implemented unless mx really wants it to. In other words, you can bookmark using your browser, or you can use a text editor to save the URLs. I know that's a cop out, but it's the truth.

If this feature gets added in the future, I'll gladly add all the tracklists. And I doubt anyone will have to "add" crap. All the artists I add to the database are usually only payed attention to me, hence, I'm the only one rating them. While I'll gladly add them if they're properly visible, I don't think anyone will have to worry if I take my time with it.

You still seem to be missing the point where you fail to realise that a tracklist is an integral part of an album, hence why the option to add one is presented in the "add albums" section. If you think that me telling you to actually do a proper job is indicative of me thinking that the rules should apply to everyone then you are highly deluded. Myself, along with numerous others, are trying to make the database into a much more comprehensive section of this site. It doesn't help when all our collective efforts are hindered by your lack of common sense and apparent desire to want to do a half-assed job of things

There's nothing to justify here: stop vandalizing the database just because you seem to think that's its redundant. It's not, and just because you can't comprehend that doesn't mean that it's magically going to change just for you. If you still can't work that out then feel free to log out and never return. I'm sure that RYM or Discogs.com will gladly accept you, as their main function is to serve as a comprehensive database. This site isn't; it's a site for musical discussion, but at the same time entries in the database should be complete otherwise we're all just wasting our time

Refer to my previous post from weeks ago that suggested that you then having to go back and subsequently re-add the tracklists would be the greatest waste of time one could engage in on this site outside of attempting to drill reason and sense into your head

@OMNI - sure the things you suggested are good, but the site is great how it is, the amount of stuff I've found from this site is utterly ridiculous. Sure the 'Listen to' feature would be call, but it's a bunch of unecessary work for MX when people can just copypaste into notepad.
Just saying, the site has more important things to focus on than the petty things that you mentioned which would just be petty improvements.
I know Dev pretty much said what I said but maybe you would be more inclined to listen if my thoughts aren't as evil as Dev's
