Would you turn down a $2,000/week (+ expenses) high profile gig?
I know I wouldn't. |

Yup. Part of being a professional is removing your own personal feelings from the situation and doing the best with your abilities for the task at hand. I hate cheesey teenie pop. But I gladly take the calls cause they tend to be great paying gigs. Which lead to more gigs... |

Probably not. I'm a full time teacher and I enjoy my job, although I wouldn't knock anyone for taking that gig because it'd be incredible opportunity if playing pro is your thing!

100% yes. Being asked to play for a major pop artist is a huge accomplishment, you will get lots of good exposure as well. GREAT to have on your resume. Landing that gig will land you other high paying gigs as well as endorsments. you'd be silly to not take a gig like that.
