The team is in a bad run of form, but honestly they are not better than Newcastle.

At best they are the 6th best team in the league, I have them 7th.

i wouldn't have them that high at the moment

not on current showing

can't believe the money they spent since dalglish has come in and they do not seem to have made a difference

what's going on is since the new year you could assemble my feces into 6 foot tall stacks and it would perform better than the current liverpool squad

some people would say that winning the league cup, semis at wembley in the FA Cup and only 3 points less than they had at this stage last season in the league would be an improvement. but i'm guessing that given the amount of money they have spent then we expect to see a vast improvement in consistency and league position.

that hook was in the water for a while

whats the consensus pasta? is it ok to win two cups and not perform in the league? looking at the results, if they hadn't gone on such a poor run in the recent 7 or 8 games then they would be challenging for 3rd or 4th. do you reckon king kenny is safe?

we were expecting champion's league next year to be honest and we've just played dog shite in the league all season

i think kenno's got another year of league failure left in him before he gets fired

he'll probably walk if they keep playing like they have been anyway

but would you rather be arsenal playing well and winning nothing or liverpool playing badly and winning things

man i thought they would've roared in order to challenge after being dethroned as league specialists

dalglish must have the backing of the board but how much will they give him to spend in the summer.

franky i would rather be accrington stanely than either of those teams

If the Premier League had started on New Year's Day, Liverpool, with eight points from 12 games, would be 19th in the table, with only Wolverhampton Wanderers below.

So pretty much.

wow theres some serious stat there

why do they persist?

kenny has come back and failed miserably in every aspect

time he went and they liquidated the club once and for all

not sure his stats would be enough for spurs to take a chance on him. did liverpool buy him before the numbers bloke from spurs joined?

spurs are just the type of twats to buy someone off us for an obscenely cheap amount and them turn into a goal machine

to be honest our league form has been so bad i'm now immune to all pisstaking

The correct answer is: Winning Champions League > Winning Premier League > Winning FA Cup > Champions league spot > Winning league cup

barca were not as convincing as they should be given the gap between the teams.

if chelsea go through then the issue will be their defence. torres and mata would have such huge reasons to impress against barca that i am sure chelsea would score. but how many would barca score?

might just be madrid v bayern in the other semi. either of these teams are worthy adversaries of barca at the end stage of this competition.

and the premier league run in, and the two wembley cup semis.

what a great couple of months. looks like a great lead up to the euro 2012 competition

Yeah, they did not hit their "against-Real-Madrid-level", but they got they win so I don't mind.

You are right of course, both Real and Bayern would be more than worthy finalist. Chelsea are not a pushover either, should be a very good semi. Plus they have the group of player who lost in that semi-final against Barcelona.

Obviously I would love a Barcelona vs Munich final, not because they might be easier to beat than Madrid, but because that would be a more "enjoyable" final with less political tension and controversial bullshit. Plus no Mou is always a plus for a Barcelona fan. Even if they would be playing a home game.

we'll see what way it works out

but in the meantime; aren't we looking at the core of the spanish team vs the core of the german team in a barca bayern final. what a prelude to the euros
