Where the **** are you getting 12 guage sets with out a wound G string? Though to answer your question it'd probably be like a 24 or 25... on my acoustics I have 11s with a wound 22 G-string.

I just use regular old Ernie Ball 12 gauges, mostly 'cause that's the only brand my local shop keeps stocked with gauges that high.

try to get one of the same or similar gauge to the unwound G that you're using now, i'd think.

check out this string gauge calculator

http://www.bangzero.org/stringtension/

change the size of the string and then press calculate and it calculates how many pounds of tension are on each string. the goal is to get fairly even tension from string to string.

What would be a good file sharing program for between me and a few buddies, to pass music back and forth. I looked into ftp but that looks slow and shiesty

I <3 packing, not really... but still haven't grasped in about 3 weeks I'll be out of this crappy apartment for good. I get to graduate, and then go get rejected by the real world and the crappy economy.

5 1/2 years ago, when I started, my degrees would almost guarantee me a job at $60k the day I graduate. **** the economy...
