I'm looking at getting gold hardware for my SRX500 but I'm probably going to order tuners/knobs and a bridge at once from Schaller.
That sounds like some alright stuff though. |

I hear ya, though. I was going to put gold hardware on my Stingray, but decided that I want to go with black hardware instead. Some hipshot ultralites, (maybe) an ultralite D-tuner, and black barrel knobs. Probably $200 for everything, but I'll have a stealth stingray (minus the maple fretboard) with .045-.065-.090-.120 steel strings. It has the world's sexiest pick tone with the steels on it. |

Nice one dude.
I've generally avoided gold hardware but it will look really sexy coupled with the fiery orange finish on my SRX. Got the gold straplocks so far, they look tight. I'm wondering if I can get a different neck put in some day, as a bit of a customisation effort. Things To Do, Maybe. |

Most necks are made for just Fender/G&L/MusicMan/Gibson projects, so getting one to fit your SRX may have to be a custom job, or you might have to do some shaping of your own. |

Just finishing out the remainder of my work day and REALLY hoping I don't have a calculus assignment due today (backpack is at home, so I can't check).

Band has finally been practicing again. We ripped it up the other day. Not that we were perfect, but it went really well. We even played a few songs we haven't touched in a long time, which was pretty fun.
We've got up to three shows before the end of the year, so we need to make sure we're more ready than we've ever been, because this is getting ridiculous. I don't like blaming others, but I have never been the one to completely screw up a song during a show, and I can't say that about everyone else in the band. |

Screwing up sucks. We've been practicing lots lately, as well. Mostly because our second guitarist has only been playing with us for about a month and he had lots of parts to learn and perfect.
I wanna share some of the stuff we've done lately, because I think they're sweet songs, but Jem's trying to keep some stuff not online so that we'll have some surprises. We've got 3 new songs, and 2 total remakes of older ones. >_< |

We're playing a show this Friday and Saturday, and we have been offered a show this Sunday. We're also playing Metalstock on the 14th and opening up for Flaw on the 25th. We're trying to pick up a spot opening for Days of the New and another spot for Authority Zero (the 20th and 21st). I think we're going to focus on recording during the month of December. |

Well, we're not ready to have any show this weekend. |
