Very nice. I've been wanting to get an old tele plus and fit it with some Lace Sensors and a cut off switch.
Details on the project? May come in handy for me ![]() |

what kind of pickups are in it? i like it except for the headstock. i would've probably went with a more traditional tele head.

aluminum scratchplate and back plate (handmade) artec tele and humbucker (tapped), kent armstrong strat pickups - kill switch for each. cheap option but sound as good as any others ive used kent armstrong bridge and tuners polyurethane varnish body profiled top and bottom on the back because the wood was so thick, but i didnt fancy planing it all down neck was bought premade with a blank headstock, the shape wasnt my choice, I left that up to the guy i made it for, its odd, but i like it. final price £285 its based on my modded squier tele ![]() |

Your modded tele looks so much better. But I do like the individual switches for each pickup, and the countours are a nice touch.

nice work... if it were me I'd have put in a three way in addition to the on offs but to each his own...
looks like a ric headstock.... I rather like it! http://bandmix.com/mistermikev/ above is a link to an avatar of a thinline tele I put together... stumack body, all parts neck that I added a 1/8" veneer of maple to... wired it up with the 4way and the texas tele p/u's...did the finish myself too... nothin' like DIY... |
