Re-Binding a Les Paul style neck
So my friend gave me this Lero Les Paul a while ago, and despite some problems (unstable tuners, poor wiring, etc) it sounded and played alright. But seeing as it was free, I figured I'd do some work on it.
I took it apart, and the neck binding seems to be falling off a bit right where the neck, which was broken and will also need to be replaced. My question is, is it hard to re-bind the neck? Can I do it at home, or would I need to pay someone else to do it? |

Re-binding might require a re-fret, or very carefully sanding it prior to sticking it back on. It's a fairly major repair.
You're probably going to be better off paying the $150 to get it re-bound professionally w/ insured work. |
