i've been there, and i know it's shi
tty. usually when they say they want to still be friends, it's so they don't feel bad and/or mean. that happened to me last year and she only talked to me a minimal amout about a week after the breakup, and never talked to me again after that.
you just have to move on and don't worry about it anymore.
