82. In Flames
Since their inception in 1990, In Flames has been one of the pioneers of the genre Gothenburg Metal, a similar style to Melodic Death Metal. In Flames has 9 full-length albums to their name as well as several EPs and over the course of those albums has had many aural evolutions. While their earlier albums experimented with harmonized guitars in the context of Melodic Death Metal, their later albums have incorporated Industrial influences that alienated some fans while garnering others. Their latest release, Come Clarity, takes more influences from their roots and relies more on the classic harmonized leads and solos that characterized their earlier works.

86. Minus The Bear
Minus the Bear was formed in 2001 and is made up of Dave Knudson, Cory Murchy, Jake Snider, Erin Tate, and Matt Bayles. The bands name is an inside joke between the members. They have released three EP’s and two full-length albums. The band is known for their rather amusing song titles, some of them include, “Hey Wanna Throw Up? Get Me Naked,” “Monkey!!! Knife!!! Fight!!!” and “Lemurs, Man, Lemurs”. Despite these funny titles, the bands music is quite technical, on their latest release,
Menos el Oso, the songs don’t have the same humorous punch lines. On January 2, 2006, Matt Bayles, keyboardist and producer for Minus the Bear, announced he was leaving the band to work on his record production. The band replaced him with Alex Rose.

89. Go It Alone
Go It Alone is a hardcore band that formed in British Columbia, Canada in 2002. The band has drawn much of their influence from lesser-known youth crew bands such as Battery, Outlast, and Section 8. Soon after forming, the band released a six-song demo called the Hollywood North Demo. In 2005, Go It Alone released their debut full-length, The Only Blood Between Us, and has begun to develop a sizeable following, especially in the west. Most recently, Go It Alone recorded a split EP with Blue Monday, which was released on Rivalry Records in early 2006.
