Something to think about. For regularly gigging musicians an set of earplugs should definately be a consideration, and the more even their frequency absorption the better. I'm actually thinking about some of the $50-ish custom made super fancy nice ones edge was talking about, but that's because I'm starting to do more live sound work, where being able to hear the relative frequncies with as little interference as possible is quite important. For a musician playing, as long as your sound levels are being controlled well by someone else, you should be able to get away with cheaper plugs like these, as with the arrangement of stage monitors, you normally can't hear the overall mix anyway!
