Subject to change...
Three-Lane
I've always maintained this passed down attitude,
for in order to slip away silently,
"Try not to indicate for more than five seconds,
Or else it makes you easy to follow".
I was told that one from my driving instructor
Such a paranoid view who believed in only,
his own mere conjecture
And do not slow down for the turtle,
coz remember the rabbit had a big ego,
Just a little snooze,
and look what happened.
So,
Put your foot down harder and dont forget.
Direction is sometimes hard to figure,
when your lost and the sun is gone,
Desperation leaves me to politely ask,
"Please point the finger to where I must follow"
The strangers reply happily but hoping,
answering with added favours I cannot risk.
A "Can I have a lift?" question is such a burden for me to bear
And so systematically to those who ask I will always reply,
"So sorry dude, but I'm just passing through".
It kind of reminds me of myself being one of those pragmatic survivalists,
"Find your own way for life's essence is for every man,
for himself"
Do you get the gist of things?
I certainly can grasp this concept.
Will you now change lanes and slow down to help a stricken stranger out?
I know I will.
But will you still choose to fly away till the gas tank runs empty?
Then tell me what will you do? Tell me.
Have a snooze like that stupid bloody rabbit?
