"The Deal For Being An Idealist"
This shackling bastard
That secludes my continuum
Seems bound to break me
Stuck in a rhythm
That defiles continuity
While my blood becomes my only stability
So I can pay for my pleasure
And owe my finder her fee
Still falling for every dream
An idealist to the end
But how I live is inconceivable
An impression born from misdirection
A concept I still can’t comprehend
North of the boundary
That splits my soul
Is a danger to my defense
One million fingers
Point out my own missteps
A trait I’ve come likely to detest
While searching for water
Beneath an electric fence
How can I blame this all on you?
I have an answer but I haven’t a clue
My thoughts spill, spoken
Because my mind has been broken
And hammered until it oozes truth
But I will continue falling
Because it’s the quickest way to the end
There’s no more room for stalling
A pause would be implausible
I will not wait to believe that I am dead
