October 11th 9 30 Club, Washington DC – Three/Underoath/Coheed & Cambria

Three – Absolutely an amazing band. I don’t know if I would call them punk rock or any of these bands punk rock but still. Three has two drummers. On their last song both drummers soloed for about 5 minutes. It was really cool. And then they started hitting each others symbols (they were sitting next to each other). One drummer did a solo with cowbell and everyone was like “MORE COWBELL!”.

Underoath – This band was a weird band. They put up a banner with a girl with an oxygen mask on. The keyboardist was annoying he would just jump up and down and try to be cool. The drummer and the lead singer shared vocals. The drummer had a high voice and the singer just screamed the whole time and I couldn’t understand what he was saying.

Coheed & Cambria – During Underoath we saw Claudio (singer) on the balcony and everyone was waving at him. He looked tired/pissed but idk why. When they got on stage they were pretty good. Everyone was jumping around and stuff. Claudio is a really cool guy.

Again I don’t think these bands fit into the “punk” rock category and none of these bands are AWESOME. Except maybe Three.
