I think LoC will get softer and also lose most if not all of the ska influence because of the new bassist. a great great band but i still think CV is better because they were more ska and their albums werent as over produced like the LoC ones. If the Anti-Flag bassist did replace Alec (which is possible, I heard he moved to Cali with his girlfriend), it will only be for this tour. Afterwards they are calling it quits, as The Stza is moving to South Africa, or so he says. I think if they get together to record again, Alec will be there.
