Yes, it rains a lot there. Have you seen a movie called "The Ring"? It's shot in Seattle, and as you might guess, it rained in almost every scene. So dark and depressing. Maybe that's the reason "Where did you sleep last night" gives me the chills, just that line "In the pines, in the pines, where the sun don't ever shiiiiine" is just...beautiful and sad(pretty much sums up Nirvana's music
