A good introduction to what opeth sounds like overall is Godhead's Lament. It really shows both their soft and their heavy side very well. The Drapery Falls is another song that comes to mind right away when you think of opeth. Some opeth might be a hard listen the first time around, what with their ultra long songs and all.
