The thing about the line6 m13 is that I have played shows just using it, and it worked fine, but I wouldn't say my tone was perfect. Using it as a reverb/delay/mod/weird noises box, I have found I love it a lot more then a "all in one all you need."
So if you're looking for a multi-fx to cover all your basics (which differs for everyone... I know some people just go by dirt and reverb) I don't know if its for you. I love it though, my playing wouldn't be the same without it
