The CunninLynguists' collection kind of bums me out because it seems appearant they are getting closer to the generic southern hip-hop of today. Will Rap For Food is so unique in it's approach and then A Piece Of Strange is only a couple steps ahead of generic southern rap.
If you ask me, A Piece Of Strange is a lot better than anything that came from the south this year. It's actually one of my favourite albums of this year, especially because of the production, which is awesome imo.

Has anyone heard Mos Def's new album Tru3 Magic? I've been hearing it's pretty boring, even when compared to The New Danger, which already was rather uneven.
