Mesa F50 Tube Upgrade

Hi there,

Looking to change my Stock Mesa F50 tubes to something new.

Can anyone give me some recommendations on what to get in both the preamp and power tube sections?

I do find that hard to believe. I'm still interested in the DSL401 but everyone seems to recommend the F50. I'v really gotta try them both out side by side and see what their like. Thanks! ;)

Hopefully from New York. I know its gonna be heavy, i'm gonna get a flight case with it. I'll prob have to pay an excess luggage fee, but even with that it'll still be much cheaper then in the UK....

Thats ok then, i'll have to leave the cranking until i play some gigs. I got a Boss Mega Distortion pedal. Guess i can use that as suggested if i can't get a good enough low volume amp distortion...

Wow didn't know he's back, not the biggest fan of them but i'v always liked Wes's playing style, comes up with some cool riffs and i like his style. Quite like the new song as well.

If i had the money i'd prob go for the Mesa F50, but one thing also holding me back is that i'm mostly a bedroom player, so i'm thinking due to it being higher wattage i'm not going to get that good...
