I made a pretty big list of guitar parts sites, and compared them all for prices on certain items like truss rods, strap loks, fretwire, etc. I figure if I order bulk amounts of each item from the cheapest site, I could save alot. :D

^ I'm starting to buy in bulk now, you can save quite alot. I'm just about to order quite a few mastergrade east indian rosewood backs, sides, fretboards and bridges for pretty cheap.

Yeah, I started doing that too. I plopped like $80 down for 6 dual-action truss rods. :D I figure that should last me at least til next summer....

Hi I am new here and also new to building my own bass. I have noticed alot of great information. I preferre to have most the cutting a routing done for me already when I order the body since I am not so good and woodworking. However I love the idea of putting my own together so I affect the playability and the look. Here is my question

I am looking for a pre cut and routed bass body but I want it to be routed for Humbucker Pickups. Where can I find that. I searched through most those pages and all the Precut and routed bodies are P and J bass style only and not Humber pickup routed. can someone please help?
