Pop-Punk Awards 2005: Best Album, Group C
Coheed and Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness
Thrice – Vhiessu Propagandhi - Potemkin City Limits A Wilhelm Scream - Ruiner Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out The "Best Album" award has been split into 3 groups because of the inequal amount of nominations. 2 of the groups are just standard nominations, and the final group is made up of albums with more than one nomination. If this seems a little unfair, I'm sorry, but it's the fairest way I could see to do it. To make it a little bit fairer, the top 2 albums of the first 2 groups (With one nomination) will go through to the final, whereas the top album of the final group (With more than one nomination) will go through to the final. So here's the first poll of 3. They will all close in 4 days, then the final will last 3 days. |
Good Apollo
Oh god I hope C&C don't win.
Thrice ++ |
GA got more nominations than Thrice, so technically it should.
But then again, there are 4 other albums up there. |
This will be tough. I need to give Vheissu a couple more spins before I can vote.
The new Thrice, Propagandhi and Wilhelm Scream are all excellent albums, but I'll go with Propagandhi.
Unfair poll.
I vote for aWS, because lots of people will vote Propagandhi anyway (if everything's right in this world). Both the Thrice and Co&Ca ones were kinda disappointing to me, even though they were good. EDIT: Hah, that makes one vote for each album. For now, anyway. |
I think AWS is out of this one.
I think AWS is out of this one.
?? How so? |
Easily Thrice.
Coheed easily.
Coheed, but this year hasn't produced any albums that I like hugely.
Thrice.
It was between Co&Ca, Ruiner, And P!ATD for me, so I finally chose Panic.

P!ATD for me.
Don't really get this voting system though, sureley you want albums with more nominations to go through as they are higher in demand... |
Don't like any of them but I will see how it pans out and vote for the one with the least amount of votes. Same with the other poll other than the one with Brian Eno because he wins easily.

Yeah =/ They're wrong though. |
Dear god...Thrice, Coheed, and AWS in one poll :(
:thumb: I voted Propagandhi, no doubt.
Kif can I ask why you left out Dropkick Murphys and Against me!? Not enough nominations or not pop-punk?
Nominations, i woudl have voted AM! but they aren't pop-punk.
Panic! At The Disco owns this poll.
Coheed and Cambria.
I'm pullin for the Panic!

Ruiner, hands down. All the albums in this group were pretty good though.
Ruiner
Coheed. I guess.
It was between Coheed, Trice and P!AtD. I gave in and voted for Co&Ca.
